Offering my two cents on the Gabriel Frase vs. Tracy Murphy race for sheriff:
When Tracy Murphy was questioned he was apparently unsure how to answer some particular question(s) because of non-disclosure agreement issues.
His first impulse was to lie.
This is a problem.
My first thought when reading an account of the incident was to question why he did not ask to postpone the interview so he could speak with a lawyer, union rep, or some other entity who could advise him.
He just lied.
As sheriff, would he find this acceptable behavior for his deputies and staff?
I do not know either of these candidates personally, but I just don’t feel Tracy Murphy has the maturity, sophistication or depth of thinking necessary for this leadership position.
If fact, I think his actions were dangerous.
