The Master Gardener Foundation of Lewis County extends its sincerest thanks to the community for its continued support of our annual Spring Plant Sale.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, this event is our primary fundraiser, and the proceeds are essential to sustaining the WSU Lewis County Extension Master Gardener Program.
In partnership with WSU Extension, the foundation helps provide free, research‑based gardening education throughout the county. This includes workshops at our demonstration gardens, free community classes and our regular Ask a Master Gardener Clinics, where Master Gardeners assist with plant diagnostics, insect identification, and home‑garden problem solving.
Our outreach also extends beyond our gardens and clinics. Through our work at the Toledo Learning Garden, Master Gardeners help provide hands-on garden education to approximately 600 students each year, fostering early connections to plants, soil, and environmental stewardship. We also teach gardening classes at the Chehalis Juvenile Justice Center, where youth gain practical skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of how growing food and caring for plants can support personal growth.
We continue to support several demonstration gardens across Lewis County, along with youth gardening and education programs, including scholarships that help inspire the next generation of gardeners and environmental stewards.
The success of the Plant Sale depends on the generosity of our community partners, volunteers and shoppers. We are grateful to everyone who helped promote the event, donated materials or joined us to select new plants for their gardens. Your support directly strengthens local education, sustainability and community engagement.
