I have to say I am shocked by Cheryl Matthiesen’s letter to the editor.
I am guessing she is in her 40’s and ablebodied, as she sure did not take into account the thousands of seniors who simply can not get to polls, or the disabled as well.
She acts as if it is a big scheme that Washington state has mail-in voting in place and, because of that, Democrats have almost always won. Now, that just says the GOP people do not bother to vote even when they do not have to do anything but fill in a few lines.
It gets tiresome having to hear how bad they have it that this state is run by Democrats, which means it is not a poor state like all of the GOP States. It would be nice for a change for the GOP in this state. Compare living in a very poor state versus living in Washington or any other Democratic State.
I will pay taxes to have good roads that are not full of potholes you find so easily in the GOP states. There are also more people working in blue states as opposed to the lack of employment in the GOP states.
But I guess since they live here and not there, they really do not get that.
