As a proud resident of Lewis County, I support Sen. Braun and his candidacy to represent our district in Congress. In an era when proven leadership, unwavering integrity and a deep commitment to our community are more important than ever, I firmly believe that Sen. Braun stands out not only as a capable legislator but as the leader we need to advocate for Southwest Washington’s interests at the federal level.
Proven leadership rooted in service: Braun’s record in Olympia speaks volumes about his dedication to public service and his ability to build consensus on challenging issues.
Champion for local priorities: Unlike candidates who are guided by national party talking points, Braun’s focus has always been on the priorities that matter most to the communities he represents.
Fiscal responsibility and economic stewardship: As taxpayers, we expect our elected representatives to be prudent stewards of public funds. Braun has consistently prioritized responsible budgeting and transparent fiscal management, earning the respect of colleagues from both parties.
Supporting families and education: Braun recognizes that strong communities are built on the foundation of healthy families and high-quality education. His legislative record includes support for increased funding for K-12 schools, expanded access to early childhood programs, and investments in technical and vocational education.
Track record of integrity and accountability: In today’s political climate, trust in elected officials can feel elusive. Braun has earned the respect of his peers and constituents alike through his transparency, accessibility and unwavering ethical standards.
Prepared to lead at the national level: While Braun’s accomplishments in Olympia have been significant, I am confident that his skills, values and vision will serve our district well in Congress. Moreover, his reputation for building strong coalitions and fostering respectful debate will contribute to a more functional and responsive Congress.
We deserve a representative who brings people together rather than drives them apart — someone who understands that compromise is not weakness, but a path to progress.
In closing, I urge my fellow residents of the Third Congressional District to join me in supporting Braun in his bid for Congress.
His leadership, integrity and deep roots in our community make him the ideal candidate to represent Southwest Washington at the national level. I am confident that, under his stewardship, our district will prosper and that our voices will be heard in Washington, D.C.
