Letter to the editor: I’m sick and tired of listening to the whining of the Dems

I read the letters of people calling Trump a dictator, heartless, cruel.

I wonder if we are talking about the same guy?

He was elected by a majority not seen in many years. He ran on a couple of huge issues — the cost of living, the cost of owning a home, bringing down crime, and securing our borders.

Now the border issue is absolutely plain; if you enter the country illegally, you should be deported. It’s federal law. Has been for years. Talk about heartlessness. People send their children here alone, usually by men who may or may not actually deliver them safely. Then they come across illegally claiming asylum and demanding to be united with their children.

There is a legal way to enter this country, and to become a citizen. It isn’t by sneaking across the border or claiming asylum. There’s a procedure for asylum as well. Crime? He shut down crime in D.C. by bringing in troops to reinforce the police. Crime plummeted, yet the Democratic mayors and governors won’t allow him to do the same for them. I guess they prefer crime and violence against their citizens rather than get rid of the criminals.

Bringing down the cost of living? His tariffs have already shown massive investment in this country and lowered the trade barriers against our goods. Inflation is down. The cost of living is down. Gas is down, except in Washington. Grocery costs are down. And he’s putting pressure on the Fed to bring down interest rates since he doesn’t have direct control of that.

The left complains about people losing their Medicare. Yet those people losing Medicare weren’t eligible to get it in the first place. The Dems forgot about that.

President Trump hasn’t done anything not within his power to do, and much that was done by his Democrat predecessors. Obama deported over 2 million illegals, but all you hear about is the ones that Trump has deported. Of course, Biden allowed over 10 million illegals into the country. And DOGE has cut hundreds of millions of dollars being wasted by the government, all cuts legal.

But it cuts into the waste and fraud of the Democrats over the last 20 years or so. Frankly, I hope that Biden, his family and Obama and his administration all go to federal prison for their interference in elections and outright weaponization of our justice system to keep Trump from winning. Trump is merely turning our justice system around to how it should be.

Anyone wanting to debate this should just look at the emails from the DOJ burn bag that recently showed up, showing the outright lies and intimidation against Trump directly by the order of Obama and Biden. And look at the softball thrown at Biden for his illegal handling of classified information versus Trump’s completely legal documents.

I’m sick and tired of listening to the whining of the Dems and attacks on Trump. Sour grapes and poor losers.
