Letter to the editor: Hocus POTUS — response to a recent inspiring letter

When it comes to “whining,” the GOP is the all time champion.

Counter their drivel with information and logic, and all you get back is vile name calling and threats. I’ve received helpful information from complete strangers here who, while completely ignoring the subject at hand, advise me that everything will be peachy if I just get help for my drug addiction problem, move out of my parent’s basement, get a job, stop beating my wife, refrain from having sexual relations with my children, start believing in God and stop hating the Constitution.

If I can’t manage that, perhaps I would welcome some friendly assistance with getting my heart to stop inconveniencing me by constantly functioning as it is intended to do.

I especially like the “how about argument” (the haha, hee-haw premise) that dismisses everything by cleverly stating: ”Hey, the Democrats did it, they got away with it, and no one cared, so why can’t we?

“No one cared (six years, and more than $95 million spent on “investigating” Bill Clinton).”

I have a simple plan to end all this petty bickering and make everybody happy.

Democrats should start showing some respect for their brothers in arms. They should blindly imitate them.

“Hey the Republicans thought it was cool to elect a President with 34 felony convictions under his belt, and since it has now been declared by the Supreme Court that Presidents are unable to do their job without breaking the law ... vast new horizons are available to us all.”
