My wife and I have felt that Sean Swope is doing a great job as District 1 Lewis County commissioner.
What we haven't been able to figure out is why people have been throwing pebbles at him over the past several months.
Then we read his comments in the Thursday, Sept. 25, edition of The Chronicle and figured it out.
Good people are looked on as evil. And evil people are looked on as good.
It's the time in which we live.
After reading Commissioner Swope's comments about Jesus, plus the inclusion of five scripture verses, I wouldn't be surprised to see the pebbles replaced with stones.
People that make it a habit of criticizing others should take heed of Mathew 12:36-37.
