Letter to the editor: Easter is now International Transgender Day of Visibility?

Posted

We are told that America is getting a complete makeover.

It seems to me that, one by one, each major organization is being corrupted.  I don’t understand how they agree to making these major changes?

Last month, an article in The Chronicle informed us that the Audubon Society is going to change the names of 80 species of our birds.

Today, we received a 2024 calendar that showed they have now placed “International Transgender Day of Visibility” on Easter, which is March 31 next year.

As soon as we noted March 31 on the calendar, we had to see who put this calendar out. Guess what? It was the National Audubon Society.

I wonder why they decided to put it on Easter? I suppose next, they will decide to change the word “Christian” to “trans-christian.”
