Letter to the editor: Dems have been whining since Hillary Clinton’s loss

Letter writer Dennis Shain of Centralia must have mixed up the political parties. He stated that the Republicans are big whiners.

Obviously, he’s confused. It wasn’t the Republicans who started all the hate mail after the 2016 election. It wasn’t the Republicans who started Russiagate. It wasn’t the Republicans who hid Hillary Clinton’s crimes or Joe Biden’s mental incapacity for four years. It wasn’t a Republican administration that forgave Joe Biden’s mishandling of classified information and documents for what, 30 years, as senator, vice president and president, and then tried to convict President Trump for claiming he did the same thing when, in fact, he hadn’t.

We now know that President Obama approved the misinformation campaign and specifics about Russiagate, according to the burn bag emails recently discovered at the FBI. Russiagate was created to hide the fact that Clinton had used private servers for classified emails for her entire time as secretary of state, servers that are strictly forbidden by federal law. Yet the Hur investigation ignored the law and said it wasn’t a big deal. And President Biden’s classified document mishandling wasn’t the “slight” indiscretion laid out by the Hur investigation. He kept classified documents in his homes, offices, college storage, and National Archives and Records Administration storage while he was a senator and vice president. All crimes under federal law, crimes other people have been convicted of and spent time in prison for. But not Biden, who was forgiven because he was old and had a poor memory and obvious confusion, according to the Hur investigation.

Most people ignored that considering that the poor memory and confusion was during his time as president when everybody else was pooh-poohing the idea that he was mentally deficient. And it wasn’t the Republicans that weaponized the entire law enforcement and judiciary system for over 16 years.

The Democrats have been whining and complaining ever since Hillary lost in 2016, and they have done everything they can to corrupt the voting pool and have attacked President Trump every step of the way. And as for the “36 felony convictions,” they were done by a politically motivated attorney general who ran on “I’ll get Trump,” an obvious bias, and who was convicted by a politically motivated judge who set sentencing for a couple of days before swearing in to complicate President Trump’s ability to appeal the convictions. And the charges weren’t even felonies, although the attorney general used convoluted logic and improper reasoning of the laws to actually get the charges to become felonies, because they never were. And he was helped by a politically biased judge who refused to allow testimony that showed the charges were improper and false. And the same came from the supposed lawsuit brought by the New York City district attorney whose court verdict and outrageous fine was just overturned. The AG, judge and DA should all have been disqualified for conflict of interest, but the judge refused the request.

Of course. He wanted to “get Trump” along with the rest of them. Get your facts straight the next time, Dennis.
