I’ve finally decided that I need to respond to the bloviating letter writer Marty Ansley. He’s worse than Biden with his anger, insults and lies.
RFK, Jr. doesn’t say, and has never said, vaccines don’t work. He says they should be fully tested and the test results should be made available.
Vaccines don’t create herd immunity. Herd immunity is created when the individuals in the community have either been exposed to a disease or have been vaccinated against it.
Vaccines historically expose individuals to an attenuated form so that individuals develop a resistance. So it’s not the vaccine, it’s the members of the community having been exposed. It’s why there used to be measles parties in elementary schools, to get the kids exposed so that there’s herd immunity. You can get herd immunity without a vaccine.
The gaslighting is being done by Marty. Trump didn’t see it wasn’t happening. In fact, he banned travel almost immediately, and then the deranged people like Marty immediately went into “Trump is a xenophobe rant,” but four years later, apparently, he was denying it was happening.
People like Marty are a sickness in our communities, and I feel bad for them because it seems they have no joy and nothing worthwhile, and so Marty sends in ranting letter after ranting letter.
It’d be healthier to be a strong person that is proud to be an American and understand that we are blessed to have been born in this country and that this country provides the greatest opportunity for people to achieve their potential, which is why people from all over the world still want to come here.
If it was really the hellscape that Marty tries to make it out to be, people wouldn’t be stampeding our borders trying to get their piece of the American dream.
