I recently met state Sen. John Braun, who is running for Congress.
John listens intently to what you are saying.
I also met him and his wife at another event and learned how they both met when they were young and in school and how much family life is important to them.
John cares about the education of all of our children in the community and wants the best possible education for each child.
He frequently mails out updates addressing important bills impacting our community. He is tapped into the many issues facing Southwest Washington, including the budget and responsible spending as well as many other important bills on the table.
His current elected position as senator has provided great insight on how to work with others at the Capitol and accomplish a reasonable outcome on behalf of the people.
His background stands him in good stead in preparation of being a congressman representing the people of Southwest Washington.
On a personal note, his company Braun Northwest is a consistent source of employment, making EMS vehicles in Southwest Washington.
Having been the president of Citizens for Lewis County 911 Communications Systems, I can appreciate the importance of building and kitting out EMS vehicles with the right apparatus in order to save lives.
John has worked hard to get to where he is today, and he will continue to work hard representing the people of Southwest Washington in Congress.
