Letter to the editor: Be part of building a culture of success in Centralia schools

Posted

Our children are our legacy.

Centralia School District students are our future.

Serving them as a member of the school board is a privilege.

In today's world, it is hard work. You donate your time because you believe in public education. The responsibilities take a significant amount of time.

Unfortunately, a member of our board is forced to resign to respond to personal and family issues. We will miss Kayla Mounts and wish her and her family well.

We have a school board and superintendent who are laser-like committed to creating a culture of success. We have a staff that can make it happen. Team Centralia is creating a future for our students.

If you are passionate about kids and have the time, energy and commitment, please consider joining us. We will be accepting applications starting on Aug. 14.

Tim Browning

President, Centralia School District Board
