Letter to the editor: Are you better off now than you were when Trump was president?

Reading a letter in The Chronicle from Kimball Shinkoskey on Dec. 27 provided another look at liberals and how they will do anything to keep the citizens of the United States from electing their president.

Kimball goes into great detail on why Americans should toss out the Constitution and keep Donald Trump off the ballot in every state.

That would of course get rid of the liberals’ biggest competition, or threat, to them remaining in control of the White House.

It would also set aside the U.S. Constitution and how it outlined the manner in which the American people would elect their president.

Kimball voiced a long list of charges, civil and criminal in nature, against Trump as the reason to keep Trump off the ballot.

Kimball failed to list the one reason, the most important reason, for keeping Trump off the ballot. Liberals don’t have a candidate who can beat Trump in a fair election, one decided by the American people.

The liberals tried to destroy Trump with lies about Russia. Didn’t work. Liberals tried to destroy Trump with impeachment, twice. Didn’t work. Liberals weaponised the FBI and the Justice Department to go after Trump. That didn’t work. Liberals accused Trump of insurrection. Again, Didn’t work.

Liberals have minions working in Democratic prosecutor and DA offices to drag Trump into civil courtrooms facing “trumped” up charges in an effort to keep him off the campaign trail. Didn’t work. His popularity keeps going up with voters across the country.

Liberals’ last ditch effort to throw the election, since they can’t win it, seems to be a simple solution: Keep Trump off the ballot. If he’s not allowed on the ballot, he can’t get elected. That’s the point. Once again, that ploy is not working either. A court in Colorado said, “Nope, not so fast.” The head of elections in Oregon said he did not have the legal authority to keep anyone off the ballot after a liberal group demanded he do so.

Since Biden and the liberals claim Biden won the last election by millions of votes, why are they so worried about the guy he beat into the ground?

I have a novel idea for liberals. Let’s let the American voters decide who they want for president.

As long as Trump has not been convicted of any criminal charge that constitutionally prevents him from running or holding that office, let’s let the voters decide.

Of course Trump has not been convicted of any such charges. The liberals don’t seem to have much regard for the Constitution.

Like Biden, they believe the law is something that you work around if you don’t like what it says.

Ask yourself this: Are you better off now, or when Trump was president?

The big liberal social program experiments have not been working out here in America.

Let’s give democracy another chance, shall we? Fear tactics and bullying are working either.
