Letter of Thanks: Toy Drive coordinators

Posted

Thank you, Toledo, for your support. Thank you for being so generous in giving to the annual Toledo Food Bank Toy Drive.

Christmas was made brighter for over 110 children in the Toledo community. Over 70 families were able to choose among a wide variety of toys, and each child received a new pair of pajamas and a warm handmade hat.

Thank you to all the ladies who made beautiful hats, and all the individuals who gave so generously. Special thanks to the Raleigh Stone family, Gary and Marge Springer, Susie and Ron Smith, the Ladies of the Presbyterian Church, Wanda and Bob Bandurski and the Good Sam Club, and the anonymous donor who makes it possible for all of the children to receive new pajamas.

Thank you to Mr. Croy’s fifth-grade class, which organized and collected pajamas for us at the grade school, and to all the parents, grandparents and staff who donated to the pajama drive.

Thank you, Timberland Bank, for allowing us to place a collection box at the bank.

This event would not be possible if not for the generosity of our community. We would like to thank all the wonderful volunteers at the Toledo Food Bank for their help with this event and for their service throughout the year. The food bank is open twice a month but these volunteers work well beyond two days a month.
