Lewis County women can get ready for an “evening of celebration and friendship” and an early jump on holiday shopping at Ladies Night in downtown Chehalis on Saturday, Nov. 11. The event is being organized by Gemini Events and will be hosted at the Vintage Grand Room at the Hotel Washington and The Loft, both in Chehalis.
Those 21 and older will be able to purchase drinks from a champagne bar while browsing items for sale from over 40 vendors and artisans, according to a news release from Experience Chehalis.
Vendors will be split up between the two venues and will be open from 3 to 8 p.m. Originally, the event was held only at the Vintage Grand Room, but it has expanded due to the popularity of past events, according to the release.
“Special care goes into selecting vendors for our Ladies Night events,” Gemini Events owner Ashley Stotts said in the release. “We are excited to have a wide array of local makers and small business owners offering unique finds and special items made with care.”
Once attendees have finished exploring the vendors at the two venues, they can visit downtown Chehalis businesses that will also be offering sales and specials for the event. Participating businesses will be marked with balloons.
Downtown restaurants and cafes will have special menu items and new cocktails for the night, and will be offering special discounts as well.
“Ladies Night is not just about shopping and fun; it’s also about spending special time with friends that can sometimes be hard to come by,” Experience Chehalis Executive Director Annalee Tobey said in the release.
While attendees will have to purchase drinks, the event is free to attend. All proceeds from the bar will go to Experience Chehalis and the Veterans Memorial Museum in Chehalis.
The Vintage Grand Room at the Hotel Washington is located at 545 N. Market Blvd. and The Loft is located at 547 NW Pacific Ave. in Chehalis.
