Kimberly "Kim" Pluard: 1955-2021

Kimberly "Kim" Pluard was born June 9, 1955, in Centralia, Wash., and passed away April 20, 2021, at his home in Nisqually, Wash. Kim loved fishing in Alaska where the family lived for years, as well as crabbing at Westport, Wash., with his children and grandchildren. In recent years, Kim was diagnosed with lymphoma and courageously won the battle.
Kim is survived by his wife, Barbara; oldest son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Tiffany; and his youngest son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Tiffany; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Kathleen (Largen); and his father, Merlin James Pluard; who both perished in the Mt. Saint Helen's eruption. as well as his middle son, Adam; and several of his siblings.
A celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. noon, May 22, 2021, at the Cowlitz Grange, 5184 Jackson Highway, Toledo, Wash. A potluck will follow the memorial service.
