The Napavine girls basketball team rode two huge performances from two of its stars to a comfortable win Friday, 55-25 at Toledo in a Central 2B League matchup.

Hayden Kaut scored 18 points and also logged 12 rebounds, five steals and three blocks for the Tigers (6-0, 3-0 C2BL), and right alongside her, Keira O’Neill dropped 17 points, 17 rebounds — 11 on the offensive glass — and two steals.

The two combined to go 15 for 31 from the field, while the rest of the Napavine lineup shot a combined 8 for 37.

Ellie Fallon led the Riverhawks (4-3, 1-2 C2BL) with eight points, and was the only Toledo player to hit more than one field goal. Hope Gould logged five rebounds to lead Toledo on the glass, and also had three steals.

The Napavine defense held its hosts to single digits in all four quarters, including just three in the second to go into halftime with the Tigers up 29-9.

Napavine is set for a weekend road trip next, going to White River on Saturday. Toledo will take the weekend off, then go to Menlo to face Willapa Valley.
