Janice Lindell Olson: 1954-2020


Janice Lindell Olson passed away October 11, 2020, at her home in Centralia, Wash., after battling Multiple Myeloma for 6.5 years. She was in one of the first groups to receive the CAR-T treatment for Multiple Myeloma.

On October 8, 1954 Janice was born to Frank and Marian Lindell. She is survived in life by her husband, Daryl Olson; step-son, Jeff (Leah) Olson; mother, Marian Lindell; brother, Wayne Lindell; aunt, Bobbi Carter and her three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Lindell.

Janice received her bachelor’s degree while attending Seattle Pacific University. Throughout her life Janice had many occupations including working as a Project Manager with AT&T and preparing taxes for H&R Block. In life Janice held a strong messianic belief in Yeshua. She was a messianic dance leader as well as a technical writer. She kept both the Sabbath and biblical feast days. Janice was known to be an accomplished cook. She volunteered time with Love INC and other charitable organizations. She was an advocate for fundraising to support Multiple Myeloma research. She participated in several fundraisers. She appeared on King5News regarding her groundbreaking CAR-T clinical trial cancer treatment. Janice had a love of travel and had the pleasure of traveling to Israel not once but four times through the years.
