Fire investigators are currently looking into the cause of a suspicious fire that destroyed a barn on a Mossyrock property late Wednesday night, according to Mossyrock Fire Chief Doug Fosburg.
Firefighters responded to the barn, which was located in the middle of a hay field just outside of town, on the 100 block of Mossyrock Road West at about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, Fosburg said. By the time firefighters arrived about 10 minutes later, the roof had already collapsed.
The barn was about 50 by 60 feet and was used to store hay and equipment, Fosburg said. It was a total loss.
The fire did not spread to anything else, he said. No one was injured.
