In loving memory of Darrell Price: 1958-2023

Posted

Darrell Glenn Price, 65, of Centralia, Washington, passed away on Oct. 6, 2023.

Darrell was born on Jan. 2, 1958. He was born to Lloyd L. and Jeanne T. (Snyder) Price in Seattle, Washington. He was the fifth of six children.

Darrell married the love of his life, Glenda Marie Cline, on June 25, 1977, in Salkum, Washington. Together they had four children, Kristy, Diane, Joanne and Daniel.

Darrell loved Glenda more than anything, and loved being with her. He loved to cook big meals for the family, and holidays were his favorite. Camping and going to the beach was always a highlight for the family. He loved to spoil those around him. He served, and loved deeply. Family was everything, and he always made sure everyone around him was taken care of.

Darrell was an ambitious entrepreneur who owned Price Enterprises from 1977 to 2013. Most knew Darrell for his expertise in the demolition field. Over the years, his company did demolition, trucking and metal recycling.

Darrell was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda; his parents, Lloyd and Jeanne Price; and his brother, David Price

Darrell is survived by his children, Kristy Price, of Centralia; Diane Price, of Centralia; Joanne (Jerry) Vazquez, of Winlock, and Daniel Price, of Centralia. Darrell has 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. His siblings are Johnny (Carey) Price, Battle Ground, Washington; Donna Price, League City, Texas; Gary (Nona) Price, Chehalis, Washington; and Michelle (Jake) Dvorak, Atkinson, Nebraska. Additionally, all his nieces and nephews.

Darrell always signed off with "I love you with all my heart, and then plenty to spare" — love, Darrell.

Services will be at St. Francis Mission, 139 Spencer Road, Toledo Washington, 98591, at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to St. Francis Mission Deacon Loren Lane for care of the rose garden and cemetery.
