In loving memory of Cynthia Gaudern: 1958-2023

Posted

Cynthia Kay Gaudern passed from this life on Oct. 6, 2023, at Providence Centralia Hospital.

She was born June 6, 1958, to Francis LaBelle and Kay (Melhart) Ingham in Centralia, Washington.

Following the untimely death of her biological father at an early age, her mother remarried Edward Ingham, who Cindy forever regarded as her father.

Cynthia spent her earlier life in Western Washington, graduating in 1976 from Evergreen High School in Burien, and lived in the Seattle area while raising her children. She spent a good portion of her adult life in the rural Rocky Mountain region, then returned to her hometown to be near her family. She considered her last years in Centralia to be the happiest of her life and formed many lasting connections with good people here.

Her friends and family would describe her as an untamable free spirit. She had a fondness for country life. She was an accomplished seamstress, crafter and lover of all things Harley Davidson.

Cynthia had an unmatched work ethic and worked very successfully as a legal secretary and in other office roles within the travel industry.

She will forever be remembered for her friendly, kind heart and warm smile.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Michael Ingham. She is survived by her sister, Linda Ingham; brother, Steven Ingham; sister-in-law, Kristen Dean-Ingham; sister-in-law, Val Ingham; children, Christian Witherbee, Brandy Witherbee, Patrick Witherbee, Katie Witherbee (Allsup), Tyson Heuman and Corey Heuman; many precious grandchildren; and her little dog, Sophie.

Family will notify loved ones of Cindy’s celebration of life service, which will be held at a later date.
