In loving memory of Betty Lou Miner: 1932-2023

Posted

Betty L. (Borley) Miner was born Jan. 26, 1932, to Walter and Frances Borley and passed Nov. 27, 2023.

Betty met Dan Miner at a dance Dec. 21, 1950, got engaged March 21, 1951, and married June 21, 1951. They always said theirs was a union of seasons! They then made their home on Olympic Drive in Burley, where they raised their five children.

Betty was predeceased by her husband, Dan; her parents; her siblings; and son-in-law, Jon Jeschke. She is survived by her five children: Vickie (Barry) Barrett, of Astoria, Oregon; Debi (John) Sermeus, of West Linn, Oregon; Steven, of Toledo, Washington; Wallace, of Gig Harbor, Washington, and Cenci, of Cashmere, Washington; her three grandchildren: Charlie (Katie) Bates of, Cashmere, Washington; Mindy (Grant) Casebeer, of Tigard, Oregon; and Shelley (Taylor) Rounds, of Anchorage, Alaska. Betty is also survived by her much loved and adored five great-grandchildren: Hailey and Jordyn Casebeer; Tegan Rounds; and Campbell and Hunter Bates. Also, her Myers nieces and nephews, whom she loved dearly.

Our family wishes to express our gratitude to Shera, Misty and the staff at Peace 1st Adult Care Home in Napavine for their devoted and loving care of our mother.

No service is planned.
