Bill met Toni Baker in 1984 on his 21st birthday. They then married July 20, 1985, where they went on to have five children and start their business, BL Construction. BL Construction thrived for 36 years until Bill's passing. It is difficult to drive down a road in East Lewis County without passing a structure he designed and built. Bill started a scholarship through his business for White Pass graduates planning on attending a trade school. His family plans to continue this scholarship.
Bill was a well-known member of the community and a friend to many in the valley. He grew up an avid outdoorsman and hard worker, never without a hammer, a hunting rifle or fishing pole in his hand. When he wasn't working, he spent his days traveling backroads blasting AC/DC, setting high scores at the One Stop arcade or on video games on his computer and playing pranks on his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Lowe.
He is survived by his wife, Toni Lowe; his children, Charlene Lowe, Billy (Amanda) Lowe, Janae (Camaron) Jadin, Austin Lowe and Max Lowe; his beloved dog, Frankie; his mother, Anne Lowe; his siblings, Daniel Lowe and Julie Lowe; and his eight grandchildren, Jordan, Jada, Jayden, Jacob, Richard, Willa, Jensen and Rhys.
A celebration of life will be held on April 4, 2026. Potluck will be held at the Randle Fire Hall from 1 to 6 p.m.
Donations may be made out to the BL Construction Scholarship at White Pass Jr.-Sr. High School in lieu of flowers.
