Tommy V. McKune passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024, at home. He was born on April 23, 1943, to George and Geneva McKune, of Toledo, Washington. He graduated from Toledo High School in 1961. His many interests included football refereeing at local schools for 24 years and hunting and camping for almost 65 years. When it came to hunting camp, neither snow nor rain would deter the setup. The hunting tradition started with his dad, brothers and friends. For the last 15 years, his love was being at his Cowlitz River property, fishing and hanging out with friends and family.
Tom is survived by his daughter, Deborah (Mark) Herren; son, Tom (Kendra) McKune; four siblings; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and his companion, Sharon Lott.
A celebration of life will be held later this summer.
