In loving memory of T. June McDonald: 1922-2023

Truth June McDonald arrived on this earth on June 14, 1922, and left for a better place on July 23, 2023. June led a full life in the 101 years that she was with us. She was born to Lawrence J. Boudrie and Garretta C. Boyd Boudrie in Toledo, Ohio. She was orphaned when she was 8 years old. A child of the depression, she arrived on the West Coast during World War II. 

She worked at various jobs throughout her life, in shipyards, as a real estate broker, as a bookkeeper and as a janitor at WIDCO. 

June was a member of the Eagles and the American Legion Auxiliary. She bowled on an Eagles team in Raymond. She was honored by the American Legion Auxiliary for her many years of membership. She and Daniel McDonald traveled extensively throughout the United States. 

She was married to Mr. Hoover, Clyde Marmsoler and Daniel McDonald, outliving the three of them. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Patricia; and her stepchildren, Carol Nelson and Daniel McDonald III. She is survived by a son, Donald of Anaheim, California; a stepson, Leroy McDonald; stepdaughter, Karen Hodel; grandchildren; and great-grandchildren. 

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, at the Napavine Cemetery.
