Scott R. Johnston passed away Oct. 4, 2023, in Olympia, Washington. He was born Nov. 11, 1978, to Robert and Kathleen Johnston in Olympia, and was a longstanding Thurston County resident.
Scott graduated from Tumwater High School; married Tamera Schouweiler on Aug. 31, 2013, in Maytown, Washington.; and was a bricklayer and member of Bricklayer and Allied Craftworkers Local 1 WA/ AK. He will be remembered for his dependability in all aspects of his life.
Scott loved watching his kids participate in their various sports, traveling and visiting national parks, working on his property, and watching his ducks, turkeys and chickens.
He is survived by his wife, Tamera “Tami” Johnston; daughters, Milynda “Mily” Johnston (age 18) and Hazel (age 9); brother, Michael Johnston; and sisters, Dianne Lunny and Amy Rogers.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, 2023, at Faith Lutheran Church, 7075 Pacific Ave. SE, Lacey, WA 98503. In lieu of flowers, gift cards for gas or groceries would be graciously accepted.
