Patricia “Pat” Carol Preston, of Randle, passed away Jan. 20, 2024. She was 73.
Pat was born July 19, 1950, in Paintsville, Kentucky, to Randeal and Daisy (Ward) Daniels.
Pat married Jerry Wayne Preston in Boone’s Camp, Kentucky, on Aug. 13, 1966. They were married 57 years.
After Jerry’s time in the U.S. Air Force, they settled in Randle, Washington. Pat worked many years as a retail cashier at Randle One Stop, and many more years at the fish collection facility at the Cowlitz Falls Dam. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, heat transferring, sublimation transfer, traveling and, most of all, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry and Ronnie Daniels; sister, Wilma Bowen; and baby sister, Glora Jean.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of Randle; son, Arthur Randeal Wayne Preston, of Monroe, Washington; sister, Tammie Daniels, of Randle; brothers, Jerry (Janet) Daniels, Philip (Linda) Daniels, and Terry Daniels, all of Randle; three grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb.17, 2024, at the Randle Fire Hall, 9978 U.S. Highway 12, Randle, WA, 98377.
