Orville Paul Ellwein was born in Hazen, North Dakota, on April 27, 1934, to William and Edna Ellwein.
Orville served his country during the Korean War. Following the war, he joined the Loyal Order of Moose in 1956 and was a life member.
He served in many leadership roles and received his Pilgrim Degree of Merit in 1974. He was also a member of the Eagles in Yuma, Arizona.
Orville was preceded in death by his parents and son Terry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 69 years Ruby; his daughters Tammy (Larry Myers) from Tumwater, Washington and Traci from Zephyrhills, Florida; son Todd from Helena, Montana; brother Vernon Ellwein from Anchorage, Alaska; sister Naomi Guthmiller from Santan Valley, Arizona; four grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. He was the love of Ruby’s life and will be missed by many.
Orville’s life will be celebrated at Stillwater Estate at the gathering place - 2800 Cooks Hill Rd, Centralia, Washington 98531 on June 21, 2025 from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m.
