On Sept. 4, 2025, we said goodbye to Norman Goodbla, 70, of Chehalis, Washington.
Norman was many things — a proud dad to Alisha and Matthew, a cat dad to Harry, a longtime manager at the Lewis County PUD, a Scrabble master, a classic rock enthusiast and the undisputed king of dad jokes. He made people laugh, groan and smile in equal measure — and that’s exactly how he’d want to be remembered.
A celebration of Norman’s life will be held Saturday, Sept. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Stout Coffee House in Chehalis. Friends and family are welcome to join us to share stories, laughter and love in his honor.
He will be deeply missed, but his warmth, humor and the joy he brought into our lives will never fade.
