It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Norma Donnette Binion.

Norma was a beloved wife, mother, sister and friend. She is remembered fondly as a caring and compassionate person who loved her friends and family no matter what. Her protective nature shined as a wife and mother.

In 1993, she would complete her lifelong goal of becoming a licensed practical nurse. Norma excelled in the program and was well liked by her teachers and peers. As a nurse, she would garner high praise from her patients and their families, as well as high recommendations from her employers and peers.

Never wavering in her faith in Jesus Christ, Norma was full of faith and love. She was the type of person you could pour your heart out to and feel heard. She was a gifted writer who enjoyed writing poems and short stories. Norma loved animals fland nature, planting flowers, feeding the birds and spoiling her pets. She had a smile that could light up a room, and her laughter was like music.

Norma has gone to be with Jesus now. May her love, faith and kindness be an inspiration to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.

All are welcome to attend a memorial service at 1 p.m. Dec. 9 at Onalaska Assembly of God Church, 133 Leonard Road, Onalaska, Washington.
