In loving memory of Michael “Mike” Joseph Nale: 1946-2024

Michael “Mike” Joseph Nale, of Everett, Washington, went to be with the Lord on March 11, 2024, at the age of 77. 

Mike was born Sept. 30, 1946, in Huntsville, Alabama, to James Ellis Nale Jr. and Lorraine Ruth (Stoner) Nale. His family and friends miss him already.

Mike proudly served on board the U.S. Navy ship USS Estes during the Vietnam War (1965-1968). In 2010, Mike retired from a career in sales and began many years of fishing, hunting and volunteering.  

Until two weeks before his death, Mike volunteered at Providence Everett Hospital and delivered food to the women’s shelter.  

Preceding him in death were his beloved wife, Mary Rose (McJannet); his parents; and two favorite uncles, Al and Fred Stoner Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Bratt; two sons, Matthew and Michael Jr.; stepdaughter, Donia Northquist; and stepson, Sean Mathias. Mike is also survived by two brothers, James and Robert; one sister, Marilyn Sexton; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. 

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 23, 2024, at Claquato Cemetery, Chehalis.
