Our family lost a true gem, a sweet and giving soul who took to nurturing her loved ones like a duck to water and executed her role with skill and grace. We were blessed to have her unconditional love and support for so many years and she will be terribly missed.
Linda Ann Walker (Buck), age 81, passed away on May 20, 2025, in Surprise, AZ. Born on September 3, 1943, in Reelsboro, NC. She lived a life marked by kindness, service, and deep devotion to her family and community.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Mildred Buck; her brother Gene Raymond; sister Emily; and nephew Douglas.
She was an exceptional mother and grandmother, and devoted much of her life to nurturing her family. The level of thoughtfulness, love and care she lavished upon her family was exceptional. She is survived by her dear husband Jim (83); sons Stephen (59) and Erik (54); grandchild Meadow (39); great-grandson Logan (16); as well as extended family she treasured dearly and many friends whose lives were touched by her warmth and benevolence.
