In loving memory of Joe Ashford Miner: 1948-2025

A memorial service for Joe Ashford Miner, 76, of Toutle, Washington, will be held on April 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Centralia, Washington. 

Joe died at 2:32 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2025, at his home in Toutle, Washington, accompanied by his wife, Diana Miner, his son, Jerme Miner, and his favorite (and only) daughter-in-law, Lorry Miner. He was born on March 4, 1948, in Fort Worth, Texas, the son of Ashford Lee Miner Jr. and Billie Marie Miner. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War with the rank of Private First Class. He married Diana Christine Nial on Oct. 24, 1986, in Seattle, Washington.

Joe worked many jobs over the years, including at ACME Fence Company, train wreck cleanup, oil rigging, diesel mechanics, Maple Lane, and ultimately retired from Green Hill, working in juvenile rehabilitation.

Survivors include his wife, Diana Christine Miner of Toutle, and his son, Jerme Joel Miner of Winlock.
