Posted

Jeffrey (Jeff) Gabrielson was born in Tacoma, Washington, to Fred L. Gabrielson and Margaret (Kearsey) Gabrielson. Jeff is survived by his wife, Debbra; daughter, Malea; son-in-law, Johnathen Osage; and brother, Eric. He is also survived by his parents, Margaret and Ted Friesz; cousins; aunts; uncles; and many friends. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Fred Gabrielson.

Jeff worked at West Tacoma Newsprint for many years and owned his own businesses pouring concrete, framing homes, and performing underground directional drilling. In addition, he spent many years working at Cal Bag Metals and leading demolition crews for HERO Demolition. He enjoyed his work travels to many states, including demolishing an offshore flotel for Shell in Mobile, Alabama, and demolishing the aluminum plant at Grays Harbor Paper in Hoquiam, Washington. He valued being able to work alongside his brother and daughter.

In his spare time, his hobbies included hunting, fishing, adventuring, mechanics, music, and refurbishing guns and gun stocks. He lived to work with his hands and was constantly learning new skills and creatively building and repairing. He always looked forward to opportunities to use his skills and resources to help others.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Jeff on May 24, 2025, from 1 to 4 p.m. at 1575 U.S. Highway 12, Ethel, Washington. Food and refreshments will be provided.
