In Loving Memory of Jeanette Curtis

Posted

Jeanette Curtis went to be with her Lord and Savior on Aug. 14, 2022. She had spent her whole life serving God with music. She played piano and sang for any church she was involved with. She also taught Bible studies and counseled people who just needed someone to talk to.

Jeanette had five children over a 22-year period. She loved them all dearly and enjoyed keeping a home, reading, baking, sewing, playing games, and camping with them. She did her best to provide them with happy lives. In 1970, Jeanette took a motor route for The Chronicle and kept that route for 34 years. She holds the record for the longest running motor route in Chronicle history.

Jeanette was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her children Roberta Meyer (Michael), Richard Fox, Sandra Fox, and Regina Shepherd; grandchildren Tarina Smith, Sarah Zock (Brian), Matthew Meyer, Michelle Dunn (granddaughter by heart), Dakota Russell (Abby), Micah Curtis and Josiah Curtis; great-grandchildren Trevor Smith (Karanda), Jackson and Eva Zock; great-great-grandsons Jayden and Ezra; and her sister Lorraine Katzakian. She was preceded in death by her son Steven Fox and great-grandsons Seth and Timothy Justus

A celebration of life will be held at 10 a.m. on Oct. 8, 2022, at Hope Church (formerly Calvary Assembly) at 302 E. Main St., Centralia.
