When we all get to heaven, what a glorious day that will be! Our family can only imagine the joyful celebration that took place as our beloved mother and grandmother, Jean Hager, entered God’s presence on Sunday, Sept. 7. She passed away at 95, just a few months after celebrating her birthday on the Fourth of July.
Jean married Donald Hager in February 1949. They adopted three children: Ron, Tim and Lisa. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Don; her son, Tim; siblings, Betsy and Leonard; and niece, Patricia (Patty) Cole.
Jean was a woman of unwavering faith and remarkable strength. She was intelligent and loving, and her deepest desire was for every person she knew to have a personal relationship with Christ. She loved her family and friends unconditionally, and her steadfast belief in God was a guiding force in her life. She will be profoundly missed.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to either the Valley Garden Club of Onalaska or the Community Presbyterian Church of Onalaska in her memory.
