Harry Wayne Snow passed away April 9, 2026, after a short illness. Wayne was born in Iron River, Michigan, on Sept. 12, 1940. At the age of 14, Wayne lost his mother to tuberculosis. He went to live with his father and stepmother in Tacoma, Washington.
At the age of 18, Wayne enlisted in the Army, which allowed him to travel to several countries in Europe. He also served a short stint in Vietnam.
Wayne was a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2200. He was also a member of Twin City Sertoma for several years, where he participated in a number of community projects.
Wayne is survived by his wife, Beverly Snow; mother, Gloria Snow; and six children: Etta Anderson, Marcia Johnson, David Snow, Patty Snow Schmidt, Edward Snow and Elizabeth Jones; as well as several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Edward L. Snow; sister, Ruth Ann White; and brothers, Phil Snow and Allen D. Snow.
