In loving memory of Garry Worthey: 1959-2025

Garry Warren Worthey, 66, passed away on Nov. 13, 2025, at his home in Centralia, Washington. Garry was born Oct. 2, 1959, in Centralia, Washington. He attended Oakview Elementary, Centralia Middle School and graduated from Centralia High School in 1978. He married in 1981 and worked in the local logging industry to support his family.

In 1993, he went into business with his brother Dan and co-owned the NSC Roofing Company. Years later, he co-owned 301 Contractors with his son Travis Worthey until Garry retired in April 2024.

Garry enjoyed golfing, basketball, softball, and bowling with family and friends. He also played on a fast-pitch team for several years. He was an avid hunter and loved spending time with his golden Lab, Nim.

Garry was preceded in death by his mom, Dolores Souza; stepfather, Dale L. Rich; and his brothers, Michael Worthey and Dale G. Rich. He is survived by his stepmother, Ruth Worthey; sister, Kristie Worthey; brothers, Joseph Worthey and Danny Rich; four children, Travis Worthey, Ryann Lamb, Justin Rice and Trisha Conkling; as well as son-in-law, Aaron Lamb, and eight grandchildren.

Garry’s Celebration of Life will be held on Jan. 3, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 105 S. Tower Ave., Centralia, Washington.
