Posted

Eric L. Dunham, 72, died Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at the Hospice of the Valley – Sherman House facility on the campus of Mayo Clinic/Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was born July 9, 1953, in Portland, Oregon. The family moved to Centralia in 1961, and Eric was a longtime resident of the city. Later in life Eric established residences in Seaside, OR and Casa Grande, AZ.

Eric graduated from Centralia High School in 1971 and then attended and graduated from Washington State University. On campus, he was a member of the Sigma Nu fraternity. During the majority of Eric's working career, he worked in radio station sales. Selling came naturally to Eric, and he was a highly successful professional sales executive.

Eric enjoyed watching all sports and in particular golf.  He was an avid golfer who enjoyed the game immensely.  He holds the distinction of having shot a Hole in One on two different occasions during his lifetime. Pretty amazing!

Eric was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Barbara (Wood) Dunham, and his brother, Jeff. Eric had a myriad of lifelong friends and relatives who will deeply miss him. Eric's quick wit and warm personality made others enjoy his friendship immensely.

At Eric's request, there will be a celebration of life in Seaside, Oregon, at a future date to be determined. Donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley – Sherman House; 5801 Mayo Blvd., Phoenix, AZ 85054, or to an organization of your choosing.
