Zoe, 94, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Feb. 22, 2026, in Kennewick, Washington. She was a devoted servant of Christ and known for her unwavering faith and kindness. Life is just a stepping-stone, a pause before we make it home.
Zoe was born to Lee McEwen and Gladys Oakley near Los Alamos, Colorado. She graduated from Toledo High School in Toledo, Washington. She then attended Bible school in Portland, Oregon.
Zoe met the love of her life in 1957. She married Paul Kenneth Golden on Sept. 29, 1958, and spent 67 wonderful years by his side. Zoe had many jobs, including cashier, server and dispatcher. Most of her career life, though, was spent as a bank teller and raising children.
Zoe is survived by her husband, Paul Golden; four children, Dan Golden, Leila Richardson, Diana Fitzsimmons and Tim Golden; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Immediate family will hold a small celebration of life at a later time.
