It is with a very heavy heart the family of Earl Spencer announces his peaceful passing, surrounded by loved ones, on Sunday, June 22, 2025.

He was born May 3, 1937, and raised on Deep Creek until the seventh grade when the family moved to Centralia. He graduated from Centralia High School in 1955, then went to work for Pacific Northwest Bell. He married Faye Palmer of Galvin in 1960.

In 1969, the family made a big move to Westport, where Earl started working full time in the charter boat industry. They had their boat, the Flamingo, built in 1972. They returned to Centralia in 1982, where Earl took on the role of managing the Centralia Chamber of Commerce. After five years, he transitioned to managing the Southwest Washington Fair, a position he held until retiring in 1999.

He is survived by his wife, Faye, of Centralia; daughters, Tina Spencer, of Kent, and Mendy Garvison, of Centralia; granddaughters, Kira Garvison, of Tempe Arizona, and Madi Garvison, of Olympia; and numerous family members.

The family will have a private celebration of life in July.
