Dustin D. Haight, cherished friend, artist and inspiration, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2026, at the age of 48.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn (Binion); his sister, Robyn (Sarno); his four children, Ashton (and Rylan), Marshall, Randi and Hainsley; his granddaughter, Hallie; and a grandson expected later this year. Dustin is also survived by his former wife of 17 years, Tanda (Inmann), the mother of his first three children, and countless friends whose lives he touched with his warmth, humor and creativity.
He was preceded in death by his father, Cory Haight, and his younger brother, Randy Haight.
Dustin’s life was a testament to transformation, creativity and connection. He had a gift for turning ordinary moments into memories — whether through his work, his laughter or the way he made people feel seen. Those who knew him will remember not just his talent, but his kindness, his humor and the light he carried.
He was a devoted father, brother and son; a talented musician, accomplished artist and everyone’s favorite hairdresser. He was the kind of friend who could talk about anything — music, politics, family, faith, dreams and the hard times in between. He listened deeply and spoke honestly. It is clear that Dustin connected with many people in his community and wherever he traveled.
We will carry his memory forward with gratitude for the time we had.
Every ripple finds the shore, and Dustin’s ripples will be felt for years to come.
A celebration of life for Dustin will be held Sunday, June 21, at 1 p.m. at Bethel Church. A reception will follow directly after the service, where friends and family are invited to gather, share memories and support one another.
A burial and graveside service will take place Tuesday, June 23, at 1 p.m. at Alpha Cemetery in Onalaska, where Dustin will be laid to rest next to his brother, Randy Haight.
