Dixie Lea Compton passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on May 19, 2024. She was 85. We are left with loving memories of her.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Dixie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenneth (Kenny) Compton, of 40 years. She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Edward (Butch) Haskey and Robert (Robby) Snyder.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Sherry (David) Ellis, John Gladson, Lloyd (Collette) Gladson, and Jessica Frye; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; four brothers, Kenneth (Dugan), Clifford, Wayne, and David; two sisters, Kathy and Leona; also numerous nieces and nephews
