David was preceded in death by his father, Paul Gwin.
David is survived by his wife and partner of 20 years, Cynthia Waits; his mother, Mary Ruth Fox; brother, Edward Gwin; sister, Janice Robb; and stepdaughter, Donna Waits.
Dave worked at Boeing for 35 years, holding different managerial and program manager positions in Wichita, Kansas, and Auburn and Renton, Washington. He worked on several key space and workforce projects and received multiple recognitions and awards for his achievements.
After retiring in 2012, Dave and Cindy moved to Chehalis.
Dave enjoyed fishing, watching the Seattle Sounders and listening to jazz music. But his love was billiards. After playing for years, he went to the nationals two years in a row in the early 2000s, coming in ninth and fifth place, a wonderful achievement he was very proud of.
Dave will be missed.
