David Dempewolf passed away peacefully on June 28 in Longview, Washington. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Melody; his four children — Christy Dempewolf, Kellie Hein and her husband, Andy, Jody Belmont and her husband, Cope, and Jim Dempewolf and his wife, Keturah — as well as nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
David honorably served in the United States Air Force as an airman second class. He went on to build a 29-year career with the Bell Telephone System. In retirement, he remained dedicated to his community, serving on the Centralia Salvation Army Board and as an active member of the Winlock American Legion Post 101.
A graveside military service will be held in the military section of the Winlock Cemetery on Sunday, July 6, at 4 p.m.
