In loving memory of David Angwood: 1951-2026

David Neill Angwood passed away peacefully with his family at his side Tuesday, July 7, 2026. He was born June 20, 1951, in Olympia, Washington, and grew up in Rochester, Washington, with his parents, Clyde and Velma, and his siblings.

He married the love of his life, Vicki, in 1981, and they shared 45 years of marriage. Dave loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He spent most of his career driving truck. Through the years, he enjoyed hunting, woodworking, clam digging, washing his truck and mowing his lawn.

Dave demonstrated unconditional love for his family. He found joy in seeing them smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, Clyde; his mother, Velma Angwood; his brother, Leroy; his sister, Phylis DeGuise; and several other family members.

He is survived by his wife, Vicki; brothers, Ron and Larry Angwood; sisters, Cheryl French and Joyce Paterson; daughter, Joy Hoffman; son, Jeff Scherer; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

The family will celebrate Dave’s life at Swede Hall in Rochester at 4 p.m. July 31. A potluck dinner will follow.
