Rosie passed away on Dec. 26, 2025, from pneumonia, a complication following her courageous battle with cancer and Crohn’s disease.
Rosie was born on Oct. 24, 1952, in Corvallis, Oregon, and grew up in Tillamook, Oregon. She worked packing shingles and as a waitress in a family-owned restaurant. She later built a successful career as an advertising manager, a role she was proud of, though her greatest pride and joy was always her family.
Later in life, Rosie married the love of her life, Larry Robertson, on Sept. 25, 1994. She was known for her talent in decorating, her warmth, and her remarkable ability to stay connected with friends and relatives. Rosie had a generous heart and a loving spirit that touched everyone who knew her.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Jane Brown; her brother, James (Debbie) Seymour; together with 7 children and 18 grandchildren, her loving husband, Larry Robertson; her daughters, Echo (Byron) Rivas, Lucinda (Leonard) Hoffman, and Anna (Francisco) Navarette; stepdaughter, Jennifer (Phil) Schmitz; stepson, Joe (Taresa) Robertson; Humberto Guillermo; grandchildren, Leticia (Brent) Kerlee, Juana (Eric) Garcia, Makayla Fields, Darlene Fields, Tasha (Josh) Benson, Bubba (Taylor) Lara, Marcelino (Rylee) Castillo, Dionicio Rodas, Addison Schmitz, Zach (Nicole) Schmitz, Morgan (Sean) Murray, Jocelyn and Zoey Robertson; great-grandchildren, Paisley and Aspyn Kerlee, Brayden and McKinnley Garcia, Elijah Jimenez, Talia and Jazmine Lowe, Hunter and Ryker Benson, Damian and Dominic Lara, Kashton, Kelaya and Koda Castillo, Michaley and Brinkley Schmitz, Tucker Kortlever, Brantley Murray, Leticia and Miguel Guillermo; and many extended family members and cherished friends.
Rosie will be remembered for her love of family, her creativity, her kindness, and the lasting impact she made on all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A celebration of Rosie’s life will be held on Feb. 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00, please feel free to join us at any time within these hours, at the Pyramid on Front Street in Winlock, Washington.
