Cory Nicolas Stajduhar, 51, of Chehalis, Washington, passed away on June 4, 2026.
Born April 17, 1975, in Chehalis, Cory was the son of John and Lydia Stajduhar. A 1993 graduate of W.F. West High School, he dedicated his life to learning, faith, creativity and serving others.
Cory had an extraordinary gift for languages and became fluent in Spanish, French, Portuguese, Italian and American Sign Language. He worked for many years as a professional medical and legal interpreter and enjoyed teaching languages to others.
He was also a gifted gymnast and instructor, teaching for more than 30 years, and in recent years shared his love of dance as an instructor at Southwest Washington Dance Center. A talented musician, composer and songwriter, Cory created original Christian music and inspired people around the world through his music and online teaching.
Cory faithfully cared for both of his parents in their later years and shared a special bond with his mother, Lydia, who passed away just two days before him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Lydia Stajduhar; his grandparents, Frank and Janet Stajduhar and Jack and Marie Greisen; his aunt, Christine Boyer; his uncle, Mark Greisen; and his cousin, Mike Watson.
He is survived by his sister, Cassie Cosser; his nephew, Jack Cosser; dear friends Dan and Katy Cosser and their daughters; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
The family encourages awareness of mental health and suicide prevention and reminds those who are struggling that help is available by calling or texting 988.
