Charlotte Arlene McGee, a lifelong resident of Lewis County, Washington, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. Born on June 4, 1930, in Centralia to parents Alan and Leota Neely, Charlotte was a creative, resilient, hardworking, patient woman. She was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She will be missed by her family and friends.
Charlotte enjoyed gardening—flowers, vegetables and Christmas trees. She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, as well as working to restore vintage cars with Dick, her husband of 61 years. In her later years, she shared a love of garage sale and thrift store shopping with her friend Darrell Myhre.
Charlotte is survived by her son, Stan (Laurie) McGee, and her daughter, Allyson Myhre. She is also survived by her sister, Leota Littleton; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her father, Alan Neely; mother, Leota Neely; husband, Richard (Dick) McGee; and son, Gary McGee.
The family would like to thank Assured Hospice, Silver Acres and all of the caregivers Charlotte had during her later years.
