Charles Lee Pollock, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on Dec. 30, 2024. Born in Chehalis, Washington, on May 4, 1952, to Joseph A. Pollock and Effie L. (Murray) Pollock, Charles lived a life rich with love and laughter.

A proud Navy veteran who served his country as a Seabee, Charles carried the values of dedication and hard work throughout his life. He earned a degree in civil engineering and went on to build not only structures but also lasting memories for those he loved. His hands were capable of fixing anything, whether it was repairing an old car or crafting beautiful pieces for his home that he built with care.

Charles had an infectious sense of humor that could light up any room. He cherished moments spent camping under the stars with family by his side or casting lines into tranquil waters while fishing — activities that brought him immense joy. An avid photographer and collector of antiques — including butter churns — he found beauty in both nature and history alike. Charles was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and loved serving his heavenly father.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Patty; daughters, Debbie Sandrini (Benny) and Denise Nelson (Jeff); brother Ron Pollock (Beverly); sisters, Jane Lewis (Don) and Jean Pollock (Tom); as well as grandchildren, Benji Sandrini, Aaron Sandrini, Dakota Nelson, Caden Nelson; and great-grandchildren, Ivy Sandrini, AJ Sandrini and Sutton Nelson — all of whom will carry forward the legacy of love he instilled in them.

His loyal companion Shera — the dog who never left his side — was always loyal and with him. He spoiled her with tons of toys and tasty treats.

Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph A. Pollock and Effie L. Murray-Pollock, and brother Dale A. Pollock, Charles leaves behind countless memories etched into the hearts of all who knew him — a testament to a life well-lived surrounded by family bonds strengthened through love.

A funeral service honoring Charles's remarkable journey will be held at Sticklen on Saturday, Feb. 1 at 11 a.m. Celebration of life where friends are invited to gather together celebrating this extraordinary man’s impact on our lives through shared stories filled with love and remembrance will be held at daughter Debbie’s home.
